Ferari 458 GT Rendering Released

The Ferrari 458 Italia is one of the must-have contemporary supercars. Actually, the vehicle is much more than that, as Ferrari has also prepared a racing incarnation for it, the 458 Challenge.

However, a new racetrack version for the 458 Italia has recently been “created”. The quotes are used as we are talking about a rendering, not an actual vehicle. But let's move on to the description of the project.

The racing machine you see in the adjacent image is the Ferrari 458 GT. The animal is the creation of automotive designer Jon Sibal, with this being the first stage of the project. The vehicle, which could replace the current 430 GT, would be a brother for the 458 Challenge.

This was a quickie so please excuse some of the roughness. I basically just used the current F430 GT for some ideas for the 458 GT. I also widened the fenders but it’s subtle so not sure if anyone will notice. Gave it the racecar stance, race wheels, race interior and other details to make it somewhat convincing. Hope you guys like it,” the artist said on his website, describing his creation.

The artist was inspired to create the racing version of the 458 after he had two personal experiences with the road-going version of the car. Sibal got up close and personal with the 458 Italia at both Barret-Jackson and Cars and Coffee.
