It has been a while since we last talked about Lamborghini. That is mostly good news, meaning the exotic Italian automaker is busy counting the stacks of cash made from record sales during the latest financial exercise.
It is also preoccupied with manufacturing the final batches of V10-powered Huracan models while the socialites are already hard at work doing twin-turbo conversions on the off-road-focused Huracan Sterrato. And things couldn't be better with such great sales of the Urus S and Performante, plus the upcoming Revuelto V12-powered PHEV flagship coming to dealerships soon.

However, we all know that the market needs to be fed and satisfied to keep the gold flowing. So, we reckon that just like it happened with the Huracan and Aventador before it, the all-new first-ever Revuelto will receive its fair batch of slightly different and improved variants, plus a host of special editions.

Naturally, because this is the Aventador successor, everyone expects Lamborghini to churn out stuff like the S, SV, and SVJ. But that's probably going to happen in the real world. Meanwhile, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators has other ideas. For example, the virtual automotive artist tucked behind the j.b.cars social media label has envisioned an unannounced and unreleased Revuelto 'STO.'

Perhaps that is counterintuitive since the STO label – Super Trofeo Omologato – is reserved for the base Huracan, not the Aventador and Revuelto flagship series. However, Lambo probably could import the moniker to the V12 PHEV, too, as a more track-focused variant of the Revuelto. Even the Huracan STO was utterly different from other variants as it sported a bunch of extreme aero and cooling elements – roof snorkel, shark fin connecting it to the taller rear wing, Super Trofeo Evo-inspired engine cover, and lots of carbon fiber for the body.

So, in the end, though it may never see the light of day, a Lamborghini Revuelto 'STO' is not entirely far-fetched. Interestingly, the pixel master chose a peculiar POV – giving us a direct stare at the real and fake Revuelto's behinds. That way, it was pretty easy to check out the differences – such as the triple central exhaust setup, additional fins in the rear diffuser, plus the big wing attached to the back of the car.

Now, the only question we have is simple: Do you prefer this virtual idea, the regular PHEV Revuelto, or are you an ardent fan of the Aventador predecessor? Based on that, we can easily tell you that a Revuelto STO is probably not out of reach for Lamborghini but also highly unlikely as they will probably use the moniker for the Huracan successor's versions down the line. The stock Revuelto is also just around the corner, and most likely, it will become a respectful successor of the mighty Aventador.
