However, this collector slash YouTuber made sure those aren't ordinary miles on the odometer as he thrashed the Lambo on numerous occasions already – and he ensured the Huracan Sterrato merits its off-road chops.
The Sant'Agata Bolognese-based exotic Italian automaker started production of the Lambo Huracan (which is Spanish for hurricane – in a departure from bull-related names) in 2014 as the next V10 offering after the Gallardo. It has been almost a decade since then, and countless variants and special editions later – Coupe, Spyder, AWD and RWD, Performante, Evo, STO, Tecnica, Avio, Polizia, etc. – the company has closed the order books and is now only building the last remaining units.

Next year, we are getting a feisty replacement for the Huracan in the form of a plug-in hybrid supercar that's much in the same vein as the V12-powered Revuelto but with V8 turbo oomph and electric assistance. But before that happens, Huracan-loving folks still have a new toy to fiddle with – the limited edition Huracan Sterrato.

Just like the less powerful Porsche 911 Dakar, Lamborghini built the Huracan Sterrato because there's a market for clients who like to take their supercars off the beaten path. However, when Lambo built this as a lifted 4x4 version of the supercar, they didn't really mean going off-road was a natural occurrence. Well, someone forgot to mention that to Ron, a collector-slash-YouTuber among the first Americans to receive a Lambo Huracan Sterrato.

When he took it home, breaking in the latest exotic machine meant thrashing it off-road for him. And that wasn't enough because the beast got a custom wrap that could help it blend in the Utah desert – if not for all the dirt flying away from under its wheels and the sound of a screaming V10 trying to make a supercar act like a dune-bashing maniac.

Back then, Ron also promised that besides that custom wrap, his Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato off-road supercar would soon receive a twin-turbo conversion kit with help from Boost Logic and the Envision team. Heck, you would think that's kind of crazy – but do keep in mind his car is only running something along the lines of 700 miles on the odometer!

Also, probably because others had some spare time before the specialists started dismantling the V10 supercar to give it the twin-turbo power boost, we saw them going full 'General Lee' with another example as they sent it off on a big, scary dirt jump. Well, it's safe to say the Huracan Sterrato again survived the abuse. Now, the latest episode in his chronicled adventures is all about resting in the garage with new twin-turbo elements getting babied inside it.

Lastly, when 'dyno day' came in, the team was happy to find out this is probably the first-ever twin-turbo Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato in the world that makes something along the lines of 1,100 horsepower. Oddly enough, we only got to see the 'consistent' power levels of around 850 horsepower. But the end result doesn't even matter all that much (unless he wants that 1,000-hp club T-shirt badly), as the owner claims that now his fastest car in the garage is an off-road twin-turbo Lambo and the next stop for this one-of-one custom Huracan Sterrato is, again, "the great outdoors!"

Frankly, that was not surprising at all! After that – if the supercar survives the ordeals – I would love to see it duking it out with something cool at the local quarter-mile dragstrip. That would be a sight to behold!
