Subsequent to the teaser we covered a few hours ago, Lamborghini has pulled the wraps off a unique version of the Huracan Sterrato. Christened the Opera Unica, it is part of the brand's 60th-anniversary celebrations and features a few unique elements like the intricate paint finish that took forever to apply.
Unveiled at a VIP event hosted in Porto Cervo, Italy, where the Lamborghini Lounge has returned for the summer, the bespoke Huracan Sterrato has a three-color exterior, with each hue applied by hand and said to have been inspired by the marine-blue landscapes and rich colors of Sardinia. The first solid paint is called the Blu Amnis, and it is joined by the Blu Grifo and Blu Fedra, with the entire process taking over 370 hours, according to the automaker.
In addition to the special finish, which kind of sends prototype camouflage vibes, this one-off jacked-up supercar features a matte black look on the front and rear fenders, light casings, sills, and roof. The 19-inch wheels have a matte black appearance, and the special updates continue inside with the Blu Delphinus leather on the seats, door cards, and center console. The dashboard was wrapped in Alcantara, and additional Celeste Phoebe leather can be seen on other parts, alongside the usual piping and carbon fiber trim and a pair of special logos.
This isn't car #1,500, as Lamborghini says it's part of the 1,499-unit production run of the Huracan Sterrato. It retains the same firepower as the rest of the Sterrato series, namely the naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The power unit yanks out 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque and 601 hp (610 ps/449 kW). According to the official spec sheet, the Huracan Sterrato won't blow your mind as far as the top speed is concerned, as it will run out of breath at roughly 160 miles per hour (260 kph), but it can accelerate to 62 mph (100 kph) in a neck-snapping 3.4 seconds.
Subsequent to its VIP presentation recently, which is where some of the pictures shared in the gallery and released by Lamborghini were taken, the Huracan Sterrato Opera Unica, which is the work of the Ad Personam personalization division, will be showcased at the brand's Lounge in Porto Cervo, Italy. Lamborghini's Lounge, which also features an Ad Personam area, is open to the public until September 10. However, you should make an appointment if you plan to visit it, as that's the only way you'll get inside. Besides the Opera Unica, visitors can see a fleet of other Lamborghini machines, with the Huracan Tecnica and the Urus S super crossover being available for test drives on the Costa Smeralda.
