Over the years, e-bike manufacturer Super73 has grown to be known the world over for its colorful and custom two-wheelers. But, after diving deeper into this brand's history, I discovered that they've always loved color and have expressed their playfulness through countless collaborations and one-off projects. These are some of those works.
Folks, Super73 has made a name for itself not only by having an insanely capable marketing team behind them but also by working together with countless brands to show the world something a bit different than what we're used to.

This is what brings me to the colorful Super73 EVs we have before us today. But before we go on, do check out the image gallery. That way, you'll have some idea of what I'm talking about and will be able to associate my words with some actual images, not just our imagination.

First up on our very colorful list is the Daily Paper version. If the name sounds familiar to you, it's quite possible that you get your clothes from this brand. Beyonce does, too, having chosen this fashion house to create the garments required for her Renaissance World Tour.

Well, together with Super73, this garment confectioner has created a two-wheeler inspired by the Dutch lifestyle and brandishing that blue, red, and yellow frame with a green cargo basket on the front. The latter feature is the one that screams European living the most.

Overall, notable changes to a standard Super73 bike have not been made, except for the choice of color, the tires, and the basket. But, there is something important to note about this project; you and I can get our hands on it through Daily Paper's website. What are you riding next year?

Next up on this rather small list of colorful beings it's Spray.Bike's turn. Spray.Bike is a crew that does just about exactly what their name entails: they spray bikes. In short, this brand is responsible for a lineup of paint products specifically designed to be used on bicycles and their components. Talk about fulfilling a niche!

With that said, you can clearly figure out which of the bikes in the image gallery is the result of this collaboration. If you guessed the one with the most amount of color on it, you're right. From hot pinks to key-lime greens and purples to make kings and queens jealous, the Spray.Bike version has to be the most colorful machine here today.

Here, we're gifted with a Super73-RX model that's been taken apart piece by piece, given 110% Spray.Bike love, and then assembled to result in the downright wicked demon before us. I have nothing else to say other than the fact that if you're seen riding this around town, there's no telling whose Instagram account you'll end up on.

From the front of this bike, color already pops into view by attracting our eyes to a pink, yellow, and purple fork, highlighted by pastel green handlebars. A pink head tube connects the rest of the pigmented framework and leads you down different paths of visual experiences. Go ahead; drool over this one for a bit before moving on.

Last but definitely not least - I know you all like your cars - I've decided to bring to light a Super73 custom project that doesn't seem to have had any direct contact with the brand it's representing. That brand is Porsche, and the final e-bike here is designed to pay homage to Porsche's racing history.

Overall, it seems as though Super73 aimed to combine an array of liveries displayed during the 1970s. As they like to say, the design is "reminiscent of the 1970's Kremer Racing Porsche 934." I've had a look at those classic color combinations, and for this e-bike, it appears as though Super73 blended the entire decade into one day.

Still, there are plenty of features to talk about and even drool over a little bit, some fun, some, maybe not so funny, if you like irony and sarcasm, that is. First off, I loved how the wheels of this version came out; Super73 always pays special attention to the rubber it uses. Another neat part of the bike is the chain stay or lower half. I don't know; it just works visually.

My favorite touch, on the other hand, is that fire extinguisher mounted to the frame's down tube. I understand that Super73 probably didn't think of this aspect and added this feature just for the "racing heritage" side of things, but riding an e-bike with such a feature is sure to get you some attention. If not for the design, it'll be for the fact that you're ready to go in. case your e-bike decides to, you know, get you into the 5 o'clock news.

Sure, it may not be as colorful as the previous two versions, but the fact of the matter is that you CAN NOT just call up Super73 and ask them to whip you up one of these babies or any of the three we've seen here today; even the Daily Paper version isn't sold by this manufacturer.

What these three e-bikes are a clear example of is Super73's ability to get their name out in the world, and this method is sure to stand as a business guideline for any brand looking to make a name for itself among already-established giants the likes of Super73 and any other cycling brand, for that matter. Time to get creative!
