Wealthy Chinese or Arab owners these days don’t really care about the heritage or the history of a company like Rolls Royce, which is probably the richest in all of the motoring world. So what if they don’t shouldn’t make SUV, they want one and quick.
So quick in fact, that somebody in Dubai just couldn’t wait for Rolls Royce to actually make an SUV, so he created one himself. This hideous monster is actually a 1993 Nissan Patrol that has been converted to become a Rollys Roce SUV.

Obviously, you’re never going to be fooled by its looks, but it has got an imposing grille, suicide rear doors like you would get on a Phantom, a bespoke leather interior and a widebody kit (why?!).

The vehicle was spotted for sale on the Dubai Dubizzle website by GT Spirit. It has a AED58,000 price tag, which is about $16,000 or €12,500 at today’s exchange rate.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
