Former racing driver Northern Irishman Eddie Irvin seems to be enjoying his retirement days considering he was recently seen relaxing on a $20 million yacht cruising along with three super hot ladies, in Italy. Famous for his driving, but also for his hustler adventures, Eddie was found guilty of “mutual injury” following a brawl in a Milan nightclub and sentenced to six months in prison.
Well, Formula 1 is not only about racing, it’s also about celebrity and hot women, of course. And what better example than this famous racer, who drove for the Jordan, Ferrari and Jaguar teams in his less than 10 years F1 career. In fact, Irvine was raized in the hardcore sound of exhaust, as he was influenced by his parents, who were also involved in motor racing. His father, Edmund Sr, and his sister, Sonia (now a physiotherapist), worked with him during his career.

Irvine first stepped into a professional racing car back in 1983 and he progressed to Formula Three racing a year later, before moving on to Formula 3000 in 1989. He got his break in the top of the Formula racing series after he started racing for Jordan in the Formula 3000 series, in 1990, and was subsequently picked up by the Jordan Formula One team in 1993. His reputation steadily increased in Formula One, eventually leading Ferrari to sign him to partner Michael Schumacher in 1996.

1999 was Irvine’s most successful season, when he won four races, taking the Drivers’ Championship to the last race in which he finished third. He left Ferrari the following year for the new Jaguar Racing team and was the only driver to get Jaguar to the podium in their short F1 history.

But this fellow playboy ex-racer is now better known for his eccentric trips and hustler adventures. Problem is, he took it a bit to far with the one in Milano, considering the target of his attack was Gabriele Moratti itself, a renowned playboy and also the mayor’s son. However, the Italian was also found guilty for having launched a hail of punches at Irvine, being handed a sentence of six months as well.

However, both are unlikely to ever see the inside of a jail cell as they are automatically entitled to two appeals, and the statute of limitations on the crimes expires in 2015, after which the case will be dropped. As a matter a fact, it’s not quite the hard knock life for this fellow racer. Irvine is now running a property company and a shipping business and, as the pictures show, still enjoys his time off 100%.
