The Aygo model is not the only small Toyota to get a fresh face this year; the Yaris played with some makeup too and surprise - it somehow resembles with its little brother.

In Europe, the 2015 Toyota Yaris is already available to order, deliveries starting this August. The specs and prices list has been also revealed for UK now, but don’t worry as the rest of the countries will receive almost the same trim levels. So if you’re based outside England you can still check this as a general buying guide. Expect the prices to differ a bit however.

Visually, the new Toyota Yaris received new LED taillamps and bumper as well as a new front end, that more or less mimics the X-design found on the new Aygo. The nice orange color has been carried over from the small city car too but don’t expect the same amount of customizing options here.

The Yaris is offered in three grades - Active, Icon, Sport and Excel - each coming with its own character and details regarding interior trim and materials used. The car is available in both 3 and 5 door setups while the engines list offers 4 choices, ranging from the all new 1-liter VVT-i to the 1.5-liter VVT-i hybrid system.

For £11,595 you get the entry-level Active 5-door Yaris powered by the 1-liter gasoline engine. Standard features include power front windows, a 6-speaker audio system with AUX and USB connectivity, 7 airbags, tire pressure monitoring as well as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and traction control.

The Icon version starts at £13,345 adding 15-inch alloy rims, projector headlights, body colored electric mirrors and door handles, the new Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system, a rearview camera, air conditioning, front fog lamps, Bluetooth connectivity as well as a leather steering wheel with shortcut buttons.

More interesting things come with the new Sport version, which replaces the wheels with 16-inch machined alloy ones, adds LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, DAB audio, rear privacy glass, a rear spoiler and sporty rear disc brakes for £14,995.

Top level Excel starts at £15,695, adding cruise control, automatic wipers and headlights, climate control and part-leather trimmed seats.

The Yaris is offered in 10 exterior colors and depending on the trim level you go with, you can also fit your car with some optional packages - Protection, Style, Design, Appearance and Smart - each coming with its own special features like mud flaps, rear bumper protection, parking sensors, aluminum scuff plates, panoramic roof, chromed tailpipe and floor carpets. However, the optionals are not available for the entry level model.

Also, the hybrid Yaris can be had only for the Icon and Excel versions, starting at £16,196 and £17,695 respectively.
