According to the leaked order guide we've told you about a few days ago, this model comes chuck-full of equipment as standard, including a 3.15 limited-slip diff, independent rear suspension, auto HID headlamps, LED tail lamps and sequential turn signals, 17-inch Sparkle Silver painted aluminum alloys, AdvanceTrac with Electronic Stability Control and remote keyless-entry.

On the inside, the entry-level pony features a 6-speaker audio system, Ford's Sync system with a 4.2-inch multi-function display, push-button start, 2 USB ports, rear view camera, a suite of eight airbags, climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cloth bucket seats with manual adjustment and other goodies. If you ask us, that much standard equipment all packed up in a bodyshell as iconic as the Mustang's is a real steal at $24k.

If the 300 horsepower and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque V6 mill doesn't cut it for you, the all-new Ford Mustang can also be equipped with the turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-pot which delivers 305 horsepower and 300 lb-ft (406 Nm), or the top-of-the-range 5.0-liter Coyote V8 producing 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) of torque.

Your next pony can be further augmented with the availability of optional features such as the EcoBoost and GT Performance Packs, an 8-inch infotainment system with sat-nav and everything else, adaptive cruise control and collision warning, selectable drive modes and the electronic line lock system for perfect launches off the line.

A 50 Years aesthetics pack is available for Premium models, coming with a chrome-accented grille, special badging, 19x8.5-inch alloy wheels with 255/40R19 all-season tires, anniversary floor mats and unique seat and door-trim stitching.

“From the six cities around the globe where we revealed the all-new Mustang, to auto shows to the recent 50-year celebration events, we’ve received an amazing response from people when they finally see the new model,” said Steve Ling, Ford car marketing manager. “This car is all-new with enhanced sophistication and craftsmanship, but it still exudes the essence of Mustang that’s been honed throughout its history.”

The 2015 Ford Mustang fastback will find its way into North American dealer showrooms starting this fall.
