Ford just announced that the final example of the 2015 Ford Mustang 50 Years Limited Edition is heading to auction next month, but before that happens, the one-off convertible version of this car will be raffled off during the 2014 Woodward Dream Cruise. But if you’re looking to get in on the party, you better act fast.
A limited quantity of tickets went on sale back in May, and as the number of available tickets dwindles, time is also running out. Ahead of the winning ticket being drawn on August 16th during the Woodward Dream Cruise at Ford’s Mustang Alley in Ferndale, MI, online registrations end on August 13th. Proceeds from the raffle go to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Like the standard fastback version of the 50 Years Limited Edition Mustang, which is limited to just 1,964 units, this special convertible gets all of the same exclusive features like the Wimbledon White paint job, iconic chrome pony grille, chrome taillight accents, two-tone leather interior and a unique serialized identifying badge displaying that this car is serial number 0001 of 0001. Not initially announced, the winner of the car will also win a VIP NASCAR package, which includes the chance to meet some of Ford’s NASCAR drivers.

Tickets are $20 each, and for more rules and information on the raffle, they can be found on the organizing website www.ford4ms.com. Also, be sure to check out the personal video message below as Mustang Chief Engineer Dave Pericak tries to drum up a few more ticket sales for this truly unique piece of Mustang history.
