Embarrassing - Lexus GX SUV Can`t Handle Deep Ice Grooves in Town

If you think owning a big SUV will get you out of any tight spot, when it comes to traction and off-road ability, think again. Sometimes, vehicles like the Nissan Patrol, Toyota Land Cruiser and Range Rover are simply too heavy, and they are stuck under their own ridiculously high weight.
Take a look at this video, from Russia. You will notice that deep grooves have been created in the reasonably-deep ice, which covers the top of the road. Also, one lane is blocked and cars are forced to pass through the gap one at a time - this causes problems.

First to pass is front-wheel drive MPV (probably a Hyundai Matrix), which manages to get out of the deep grooves, after two attempts. Next up is a Lexus GX Land Cruiser-based SUV, which is, for all intents and purposes stuck in the grooves.

It is preposterous that a large SUV, which is touted as being one of the most capable in the world cannot get out of some ice grooves. Even without all-wheel drive engaged, it should have had no problem, and yet it is unable to do so, and the driver of the car with the dash-mounted camera is forced to go around.

What an embarrassing situation for the Lexus GX, even in two-wheel drive mode and with bad tires, there`s still no excuse, really.
