It’s got Tesla fireflies that literally light up the place once they all get together. Much like King Midas from the Greek mythology turned everything he touched into gold, these green bugs breath in life in this otherwise dead gas station. It all culminates with the appearance of the Tesla Model S, of course.
Even though Midas is the name of at least three different characters, it's most commonly associated with the member of royal house Phyrgia. Perhaps you remember the Greek mythology story; he had the ability to turn everything he touched into gold. This came to be called the Golden touch, or the Midas touch.

Clearly, this is a legend. As a matter of fact, it didn’t even seem to help him much since according to Aristotle, legend held that Midas died of starvation as a result of his “vain prayer” for the gold touch.

Nevertheless, this fan-made, computer generated video has nothing to
do with Midas, but it seems to go on a similar path. It’s more like the person behind it thought electric energy is gold, that it represents the most significant power source in the 21st century.

It appears that the fireflies deploy from the cornfield located in the proximity of a gas station. In other words, electricity rises from nature, whereas petrol is a human-made, dirty thing. The gas station – namely the place where people used to get power from, before – now sits deserted in the middle of nowhere.

We’re clearly looking at the end of an era, as it is envisioned in this clip. Meanwhile, a new era rises, and it takes the form of electric-powered machineries.

As mentioned above, it all culminates with the appearance of the Tesla Model S, seen here as the resurrection of machinations. Perhaps, the premium sedan represents a symbol of revival, much like the Phoenix bird, that is cyclically regenerated or reborn.

What do you guys think of the video?
