When talking about a contraption such as the LaFerrari, it's extremely difficult to choose the best hue for the machine. After all, the Prancing Horse does have a special department aimed at helping customers find their ideal color and material combo - Ferrari Tailor Made. So we're here with a proposal, one that doesn't include an insane mix of exterior hues.
Instead, the LaF we have here comes dressed in Electric Blue (the pun was probably intended). Then we have the black roof, a theme we've seen on many Maranello machines.
We're not really sure why, but the clean look of this LaFerrari has made us develop a soft spot for the color spec. Perhaps the aftermarket-ruined example of the Italian hypercar we recently showed you has reset our standards...
Even so, there are still some vividly-colored gas-electric Ferraris we enjoy fantasizing about. From the all-purple one to the orange example with purple wheels and even the one using the Italian flag as part of its livery, the examples are many.
And with the Italian automaker having now introduced the Aperta incarnation of its halo car, the supercar spec game (yes, we've dedicated a tag to this kind of play) has moved on to a new level.
So far, we've seen Gordon Ramsay's LaFerrari Aperta and, given the celebrity chef's inevitable relationship to the color white, it didn't surprise us to see he also chose this hue for his 950 hp (make that 963 PS) hybrid. in case you're wondering, the Brit also owns a fixed-roof LaFerrari as Prancing Horses have a special place in his heart.
Returning to the Electric Blue LaFerrari we're here to discuss, this was caught on camera earlier this year during the Monterey car week. And we're glad its owner didn't choose to stop traffic in order to go for an impromptu photo shoot.
