Spring will eventually bring warmer days, so here's a nifty piece of news for the biker families out there who have kids: the Dunecraft balance bikes, one of the coolest and fanciest gifts for your little future riders.
These are balance bikes, and this means they have no pedals and no chain: propulsion is based on your child being able to maintain balance and push it with the feet. This makes for a fun balance exercise, right from the age of 3 (the minimum recommended age for these toys).

The Dunecraft balance bike is completely handcrafted from selected birch wood and its design is based on a Isle of Man TT road-racing bike in the 20s. The seat can be height-adjusted, and it can be set in three positions: 35, 36.6 and 38 cm (13.8, 14.4 or 15"), so your kinds will not overgrow this Dunecraft that easily.

Several customization options are available, such as color schemes and even a top case, for some extra cash. The bikes are all hand-made and come with s brass serial plate so you'd better check for availability in case you feel like making a timely present.

They retail for prices between €550 ($715) and €675 ($878), and since they're non-polluting bikes and very cool, it's almost natural that they come from the Netherlands.
