Ducati and AMG Join Forces in Beijing

Following the agreement announced between Italian bike manufacturer Ducati and Mercedes-Benz subsidiary AMG at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the Goldenport International Circuit in Beijing witnessed a combined event of AMG Driving Experience and Ducati Riding Experience earlier this month.

Cooperation between the two brands represents a powerful combination that will produce even more opportunities for their future development and the collaboration between Ducati and AMG was formally announced by Evan Mak, General Manager of Ducati China, to media gathered during the recent Press Conference. About 37 journalists enjoyed the experience.

“With the same core values of exclusivity, passion and high-performance racing, Ducati and Mercedes AMG perfectly complement each other,”
said Mak. “We are honoured to be part of the AMG Driving Academy, and we hope that this first AMG-Ducati Riding Experience will become a regular activity for media and racing enthusiasts all over Asia.”

Aboard the latest Ducati Diavel, Gianluca Lozzi from the “Go Pro Riding School” led a group of riders from the media on a range Ducati models including the Hypermotard 796, Monster 796, Streefighter and Diavel, while the flagship models of Diavel Carbon, Superbike 1198 SP and Multistrada 1200 S Touring were presented on static display.

In line with the Ducati Riding Experience philosophy of combining the unique brand characteristics of highperformance motorcycles with the pleasure of riding safely and responsibly, all members of the media were equipped with Ducati riding jackets and Ducati full-face helmets.
