2015 Dubai International Motor Show started on Tuesday and runs through November 14, 2015. It’s the place where luxury and abundance feels at home, which means Rolls-Royce had to be present. They took a rather peculiar stance this time, and it involves a one-of-a-kind Ghost the company has developed in partnership with its authorized dealer AGMC.
The other day, the British luxury carmaker was trying to prove a point through a press release that announced the recall of just one car. The custom-made model presented at the motor show comes in the same number, and it took two years in the making, apparently.

The AGMC - as some of you may know - is Rolls-Royce’s authorized dealer for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, and it’s this shop that designed the unit in question. According to Trade Arabia, the bespoke Ghost edition takes its inspiration from golf, and it appeals to discerning sportsmen. It comes with design cues and materials that evoke the history of the sport.

Underestimated by many, the golf business is assessed at somewhere around $70 billion per year. In other words, Rolls-Royce’s special creation is not a surprise. Its two-tone exterior featuring a contrast bespoke paint combination of Brooklands Green and Desert Dune resonates in Dubai, a place where golf courses of the highest international standard are set against the background of the surrounding Arabian desert sands.

There may not be too many images yet released, but on the inside the luxury ride reportedly features triple-tone color leather in Creme Light, Pine Green and Hotspur Red, accented by contrast stitching and seat piping. Lambswool floor mats, a starlight headliner, and bespoke picnic tables complete the scene.

Golf-inspired enhancements can also be found, such as door pockets lined with tartan and cross-banded mahogany veneers using persimmon wood. As for the driver’s comfort, a pine green steering wheel and personalized treat plates are said to also be present.
