Dodge Rolls Out Package That Teaches Owners How To Drive Like Pros

The all-new Dodge Complete Performance Package is an extra offered by the carmaker in addition to the factory powertrain warranty. It covers more than 5,000 critical components and thousands of additional components.

But it also provides a driving lesson at Radford Racing School, the official high-performance driving school of Dodge/SRT, located in Chandler, Arizona.

The school provides more than 80 performance vehicles, sedans, SUVs, Ligier JS F4 single-seaters, and gas-powered karts for all tastes and needs.

That is where specialized instructors will teach the Dodge owners how to stay safe on the road and avoid unnecessary events. Dodge Challengers and Chargers drivers have been blacklisted by the organizers of Cars and Coffee events and are not allowed anywhere near the meetings.

They are on the blacklist, just like the owners of Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaros, following several incidents that took place after leaving the reunions. However, the owners of classic models are still welcome.

The package that Dodge is now offering also covers lube, oil, and filter services, replacement of most wear and tear components, tire rotations, and roadside assistance. It also covers factory-recommended scheduled maintenance.

It is the first-ever package from Mopar Vehicle Protection to integrate such instruction sessions, which last one day and are valued at $1,500. The training sessions give drivers the opportunity to do team slalom, autocross, and hot laps in Dodge/SRT vehicles.

Meanwhile, the six-year/75,000-mile package, as part of the Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan program, offers coverage of critical components such as the engine, driveline, brakes, and transmission.

Dodge will have to customize the package once the electric Charger Daytona starts reaching customers

The package is not, though, customized for the new-generation Charger with electric power. The zero-emission Dodge still holds its position as the world's quickest and most powerful muscle car, a title that the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack is credited with. The EV comes with 670 horsepower (680 metric horsepower) and 627 pound-feet (850 Newton meters) of torque for some very naughty performance.

It runs from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in just 3.3 seconds and does the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 137 mph (220 kph).

The battery pack with a capacity of 100.5 kWh will take you as far as 260 miles with the Scat Pack or 317 miles with the R/T.

However, Dodge fans will still have an ICE option to go for if they are not too keen on electric. That one comes with the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Hurricane engine instead of the good old HEMI with its 550 horsepower (558 metric horsepower).
