The Dodge Avenger has recently received a new entry-level model, in the form of the SE V6, which is offered for a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $21,495 (this doesn’t include the destination and handling charges).
This makes the new version $2,500 less expensive than the previous base V6 model, the SXT Plus. The car uses a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 petrol unit that delivers 283 hp and a peak torque of 260 lb-ft, which is matted to a six-speed manual transmission.

Customers get all the features offered on the four-cylinder SE model, such as Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control and keyless entry, plus specific goodies, like 18-inch alloy rims, a dual exhaust system and others.

"The Dodge Avenger is one of the fastest growing mid-size cars in America, with sales up 112 percent this year," said Dodge boss, Reid Bigland. "We're building off this momentum with the introduction of the new SE V6 package, delivering a true no compromise solution for the mid-size car buyer – 283 best-in-class horsepower, 29 mpg highway, 18-inch wheels and a rear spoiler – all for just $21,495 MSRP. You get the power, the efficiency, the look and tremendous value that is unmatched in the segment," he added.
