Dodge recently announced that it is upgrading the Journey Range, offering customers more value for money, with the update including both tech and interior goodies. First and foremost, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is now standard on the Dodge Journey SXT models, with the unit replacing the V6 engine that was previously offered on the model.
The Dodge Journey SXT with the four-cylinder engine is offered for $22,995 (destination charges not included), which makes it $1,500 less expensive than the V6 model. The four-cylinder unit produces 173 hp and returns an efficiency of 26 mpg. However, customers who want more, can opt for the Pentastar V6 powerplant, which produces 283 hp.
In addition to that, Dodge is introducing a March-only offer that will see the company offer the Flexible Seating Group (this means that you get third-row seating) on all 2012 Dodge Journeys for free.
