Here’s a scooter rider who’s the very definition of “blind, dumb luck.” Not only was he hit by 2 trucks on a busy road in China, but he managed to walk it off, seemingly without suffering as much as a scratch.
You can see the viral video at the bottom of the page. The Daily Mail it was shot in Shangrao City in China and that what caused the accidents was the rider’s lack of attention to traffic. Apparently, he was too busy retrieving his headphones to pay attention to what was happening on the road.

We’re to take that with a grain of salt for now, but there’s no denying the video, which shows just how lucky this rider was. His scooter was hit by 2 trucks and he caused quite a commotion on the road, but was didn’t seem to be injured. Sure, maybe he got a scratch or two, but that’s nothing considering the worst that could have happened in such a scenario.

“It is believed the man had been listening to music as he crossed the road, and had been focusing on reclaiming a fallen headphone when the near misses occurred,” the Mail writes. “The rider had allegedly been unable to steer out of the way of the initial blue truck with one hand as the other searched for his headphone.”

The blue truck hit his scooter and sent him flying on the ground. That’s when a second, much larger truck filled with sand or some kind of construction material, came in the intersection and had to make a very sharp turn to avoid running him over.

At the end of the video, the shirtless rider is seen getting up, visibly shaken but not injured. He walks over to his scooter and the video cuts off. Sadly, the report doesn’t say anything about what the police thought of the man’s good luck – and particularly about his poor driving skills.
