Rally Diabolico is the newest addition to world's list of extreme racing events, and was created by Dakar veterans Darren Skilton and Scott Whitney.
This radical race will take place in Mexico, really close to the USA border. Half a hour or so will get you in the Mexican Sonora Desert, and this is where the navigation skills of the entrants will be put to a grueling test.

Riders and drivers will tackle never raced-upon dunes and a compass and a road book is all they get. A pit in the central area will provide support and this makes chase vehicles unnecessary.

The Rally Diabolico will provide entrants a similar experience like the deserts of Northern Africa or South America offer, with nothing but fellow racers' tracks, own instincts and a bold character to rely upon.

Rally Diabolico entries are now open, and the event schedule is as follows:

Wed. April 2 - Registration, Tech, Stage 1 Prologue race
Thur. April 3 - Stage 2 race
Fri. April 4 - Stage 3 race
Sat. April 5 - Stage 4 race, Awards.
