Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott drove his custom Ford F-350 super duty truck to Sunday’s NFL Playoff game against Green Bay at AT&T Stadium, looking happy and confident. Unfortunately for him and millions of people around the world, the Dallas Cowboys got completely destroyed by the Packers. The final score was 48-32 in favor of the visitors, and it was never close.
An entire nation is probably still reeling from the Cowboys’ defeat to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs. The Cowboys, also known as ‘America’s Team’, went into the match as heavy favorites, yet found themselves in a 20-point hole before their star receiver even touched the ball. At one point, the visitors were up 27-0. It’s what you might call a shellacking.
The final score may have read 48-32, but the game never truly felt competitive.
“I don’t think anyone saw this coming,” said Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, whose job security at this point might be a little suspect.
Now, I’m pretty sure Dak Prescott didn’t see this coming either. His team was rolling throughout the regular season, and he’s been a genuine MVP candidate for most of the year. He was looking particularly confident as he stepped out of his Ford F-350 truck on his way to the locker room, before the game.
As you can see, the truck has been heavily customized by a company called RealTruck (where Prescott is an investor) and is now rocking a matte white aesthetic with dark accents and tinted windows. One wonders why he didn’t go with Cowboys Blue as the secondary color, but maybe that would have been too on-the-nose.
The first two upgrades installed on Prescott’s F-350 were the custom side steps and the retractable tonneau cover. Other highlights include the 3.5” lift kit, aftermarket wheels (with Notto Ridge Grappler tires), a cooler for keeping his food and beverages cold, a BulletProof drop hitch, 12,000 lbs-rated winch, custom front bumper pre-runner guard, fender flares, plus LED everything – headlights, taillights, fog lights, and a 4” light bar.
Inside the truck is where you’ll find a set of all-weather floor mats, to keep the floor lining clean. As far as I can tell, there aren’t any other changes to the interior, which is fine. I mean, this truck is enough of a beast, and Prescott clearly wanted to boost its road presence more than he wanted to make any upgrades pertaining to comfort or cabin build quality.
As for the engine, I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s Ford’s 7.3-liter gasoline-powered V8, with 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. I doubt Dak went for the turbo-diesel option, especially since this is his “everyday truck”.
