Customize Your fortwo with smart foryou

The new smart fortwo, which was launched in the autumn of 2010, is one of the most unique cars on British roads right now. But for some people a bog-standard factory-built car might not be exclusive enough. In order to deal with this problem, smart has unveiled a new program that promises to be the best solution for owners who literally want to make their fortwo stand out in a car park.

UK customers will have the opportunity to choose between a number of different exterior graphics that are applied to the body panels and the special tridion safety cell. Both private and fleet customers will have the opportunity to have smarts with personality, while business owners could potentially liver their cars with graphic designs advertising their company details.

A total of 33 exclusive designs will give smart models a cool, unique flavor from launch. Designs available include ‘Flying Flag’, ‘Modern Flame’, ‘Double Sport Stripe’, ‘Graffiti’, ‘Rainbow’ and ‘Butterflies’.

The cost for this customization solution can be as low as £50 and goes up to £1900 for a full ‘Carbon smart’ body wrap. All graphics are guaranteed for five years. There’s even the option for customers to see the design before they buy it. Using the online configurator at www.smartforyou.co.uk,  owners can see how the graphics would look in 3D when applied to a smart.

”Many owners see their smart as an extension of their personality and smart foryou allows them to show this to full effect. The added style of smart foryou optimises owners’ enjoyment of their cars but for business users it can be an invaluable addition to their company, providing a very cost-effective means of advertising that is both mobile and very eyecatching,” stated Gary Savage, Managing Director Mercedes-Benz Cars UK.
