This year, Chrysler’s in-house performance division Mopar is celebrating its 75th birthday, and to celebrate, the company is bringing over four special cars to the Chicago Auto Show. The only turn-key model of the bunch is this, the 2012 Mopar 300, which despite offering no more power boost for the 5.7-liter V8, is quicker to 60 mph thanks to a revises gearbox, stiffer suspension and stickier tires.
The car will available from summer 2012 at a starting price of $49,700, but only 500 will ever be built.

Cosmetic upgrades include gloss black paint finish with Mopar Blue A-line body-side stripes, 20-inch by 8-inch Mopar forged-aluminum wheels, and some Mopar blue pinstriping down the side and on the wheel lips.

If you buy one of the 500 limited-edition Chrysler 300 models, you will receive a personalized owner kit in a customized Mopar ’12 300 box, Mopar-branded key fobs and Mopar ’12 300 merchandise.
