Chrysler Group has just announced a 2013 third-quarter net income of $464 (€337) million, which means an increase of 22 percent from $381 (€276) million a year ago, adding that net revenue jumped 13.5 percent to $17.6 (€12.8) billion.
At the same time, the Detroit-based company posted a net income for the first three quarters of 2013 of $1.1 billion (€800 million). Worldwide vehicle sales for the third quarter were 603,000, up eight percent over the same period last year. On the other hand, US market shares dropped slightly from 11.3 percent in Q3 2012 to 11.2 percent last quarter.
