Chrysler Releases Imported from Detroit Ad for Town & Country

We have to admit that this “Imported from Detroit” stuff is really catchy, and the latest one is no exception. The claim that was originally launched with the Eminem ad for the Super Bowl has become the favorite tagline of the Auburn Hills automaker.

The latest installment is dedicated to the Town & Country, and Chrysler had the inspiration not to market it as a family vehicle, but instead opted for a hard-working professional hockey player who wants to constantly perfect himself to the best of his abilities.

That’s actually what Chrysler is trying to do under the guidance of a couch brought in from Italy.

The 2011 Chrysler Town & Country is be available in three trim levels: Touring, Touring L and Limited, all powered by the V6 Pentastar with 283 hp. With the new generation, the Detroit automaker has improved every aspect of the new minivan, from the redesigned suspension to the interior, that has more comfortable Stow 'n Go seats and an integrated super center console.

All 2011 Town & Countrys come with seven-passenger seating, with the front seats being buckets and the third row having a split bench configuration that folds flat into the floor for better storage. Removed from the 2011 model due to lack of demand is the alternative Swivel ’n Go seating. This had been a Town & Country exclusive in the minivan market, and allowed the second-row buckets to be turned 180 degrees to face third-row passengers. A removable table could be set up between them as a dining or game surface.

The starting U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is as follows:
• Chrysler Town & Country Touring: $30,995 (EUR22,500)
• Chrysler Town & Country Touring L: $32,995 (EUR23,995)
• Chrysler Town & Country Limited: $39,495 (EUR28,725)

All we can say is: Lancia Grand Voyager, Imported from Detroit?
