Chrysler Group LLC has sold 142,275 vehicles last month, a 16 percent increase compared with sales recorded in November 2012, the Detroit-based company announced today. Last months sales marked the 44th consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains and the group’s best November sales since 2007, Chrysler added.
In addition, the Jeep brand posted its best November sales even with 30 percent gain over last year, Ram Truck sales went up 22 percent, while Chrysler and Dodge reported increases of 12 percent and 4 percent respectively. Finally, Fiat brand sales dropped 15 percent compared to November 2012.
The group’s best-selling vehicles last month were the Chrysler Town & Country (+70 percent), Dodge Dart (+44 percent), Jeep Compass (+31 percent), Jeep Patriot (+23 percent), Dodge Durango (+22 percent) and the Ram pickup trucks (+22 percent). The Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Patriot, Dodge Dart, and Ram Cargo Van each recorded their best November sales ever.
Chrysler Group also revealed that the brand new 2014 Jeep Cherokee “is off to a terrific start” with more than 10,169 units sold through November.
