All of Chrysler’s detroit employees (which, apparently, are very healthy and happy) were treated to a special concert courtesy of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO). July 6,7 and 8 marked the three days in which more than 8,000 employees and their guests had the pleasure to listen to the DSO playing “Symphony of the Brands”-themed concerts.
The occasion for this celebration? Well, it is the third anniversary of the group’s commitment to the local community and de preservation of its real values. According to the CEO of the company, Sergio Marchionne, “It is vital that we support organizations, like the DSO, that share the same philosophy we do — an unwavering commitment to the city of Detroit [. . .] While it is our duty to focus on the revival of this city, it is equally crucial to cherish the treasures the city already offers.

Another reason for the organization of this event was to recognize the efforts of Chrysler’s hourly workforce, along with their commitment to reviving and revitalizing the (now virtually dead, but once great) city of Detroit - a real icon on the American automotive map.
