Chrysler Group has been forced to temporarily cut production at its minivan plant in Windsor, Ontario, because of a shortage of engines that are built in Detroit, according to Automotive News. A company spokesmen has also said that this has resulted in the company having to cut one shift in the production cycle.
The midnight shift will be cut this week, the afternoon one for the week of November 7th and the morning shit will be canceled for the week after that.

Windsor makes the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan minivans, but also the Volkswagen Routan.

The Pentastar V6 engines come from Trenton, Michigan, a plant that is struggling with increasing demand. The unit is used in everything from the Chrysler 300 to basically every Jeep and Dodge model out there, and it has won numerous awards since its introduction.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
