The Cadillac XTS Concept, which made its debut at last year’s Detroit Auto Show, will become production reality at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. The XTS, which will be brought to the world at GM’s Oshawa plant in Ontario, will enter production in spring next year, replacing the DTS and thus becoming Cadillac’s largest vehicle.
We’ll remind you that the XTS Platinum Concept (this is the full name of the car) was powered by a 3.6-liter V6 unit that used direct injection, which was part of a plug-in drivetrain that offered an estimated 350 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.

The move is part of Cadillac’s bigger plan to reinvent itself, so expect the car to come with some pretty interesting features, such as GM’s fresh CUE infotainment system, which will be offered on the entire Cadillac range next year.
