Ahoy British bikes owners and customizers, today we've got great news from Choppahead: these amazing guys have in store a new, nifty oil tank, the finned version!
Since you don't want your engine running too hot, some added cooling elements on the oil tank is a great idea, and this is where the fins come in. The new Choppahead Finned Oil Tank is made in aluminium and is TIG welded, with plumbing for British bikes already in place.
All you have to do now is run your oil lines, have them secured and fill it in. The tank accepts the Triumph stock oil filter and fiber washer, which can also be supplied with the tank. Since Choppahead knows one or two things about bike building, they know you may be looking for a different finish. So they also offer the tanks in raw finish (in case you want some amazing engraving), in polished or in powder coated finish... so everybody is happy.
The Choppahead Finned Oil Tank is $225 (€173) and you can add polish for $55 (€42), powder coating for $25 (€19) or oil filter and washer for $40 (€31).
