The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is perhaps the most significant of all events celebrating the mystique of Historic Cars. It is undoubtedly the most traditional event and was held for the first time in the heyday of aristocratic cars in 1929.
Since 2005 BMW has been an official partner of this event and even organized the events, offering the BMW Group Trophy for an extraordinary automobile which expresses beauty, passion and uniqueness.
This year too, BMW will be present at the event, which is scheduled to begin on May 24th, along with its distinctive symbiosis of historical perspective and future visions. The German company will also be celebrating 90 years of BMW Motorrad and will be showcasing milestones from the company's history of "sheer riding pleasure".
The most beautiful car concept will be chosen by the public for the Concorso d'Eleganza Design Award. Amongst the cars present at the show you'll be finding the Alfa Romeo Zagato Stradale TZ3 and the Pininfarina Sergio.
