According to Ford China, the all-new Ford Mustang will hit the Chinese market in the first quarter of 2015. It seems that the first showroom cars have already arrived in dealerships, including the awesome example of the breed you can admire in the photo gallery below.
Incidentally, Stateside and European deliveries are also slated for the first quarter of 2015, so it seems that the Blue Oval is really going all out with the sixth-generation of the iconic pony car. Only recently we found out that the fastback version of the Stang will start production on July 14th and will be "OK to Buy" starting September 9th.

All exports are to be built in three days time at the manufacturer's Dearborn facility, including the right-hand drive version destined for U.K. customers. In the case of the China-spec model, it's still a mystery what engine choices will be available when the pony arrives there.

The 2.3-liter four-pot EcoBoost is certain to sell like hotcakes in the Asian country because it will be taxed less thanks to its green credentials, that's for certain. But the showroom car spotted by the team over at autohome.com.cn hints that the Coyote V8-powered GT will also be available for order on the Chinese market.

After a quick play with the 2015 Ford Mustang online configurator, we found out that this grey GT model adorned with the 50 Years Appearance and GT Performance packages sets you back close to $43,000 excluding freight and other taxes. Considering it looks utterly magnificent with that paint job and 19-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, you could say it's pretty good value as well.

The only big question still unanswered is exactly how much grunt will the 2015 Ford Mustang pack in all three power levels. Another pretty big curiosity is how will the GT model with its "at least 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque" will stack up against the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray. Any thoughts on that one?
