We don’t think this well cheer all the current Chevy TrailBlazer owners who will likely not be allowed to buy the new generation in the US... but here goes! A total of 309,000 Chevrolet Trailblazers are currently under investigation for possible fire hazard in the driver side door.
The NHTSA says these fires are likely caused by a switch in the power window mechanism or some other the circuits for the system. Only a few days ago, we announced an identical investigation to be made by the safety body into the 2007 Toyota Camry and RAV4, about 830,000 of them to be precise.

The affected Chevy TrailBlazers are of the 2006 and 2007 model year, and the NHTSA says it’s already heard of a dozen incidents in the real world, 10 of which involved actual fires. The fires have melted door parts and lightly damaged seats, but not the whole SUV. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported yet.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
