If you’re in the market for a more unique looking C7 Corvette featuring the Z51 pack, Chevrolet has something good in store for you. Taking its inspiration from West Coast car culture, the Pacific Design Package adds a number of styling goodies to the coupe version of the Stingray.
Aimed specifically at the track-focused customer, the Pacific Design trim features a carbon fiber hood and visible carbon fiber weave on the removable roof panel. The racing-influenced theme continues with the addition of red brake calipers and black aluminium wheels featuring a distinctive red accept stripe, which measure 19 x 8.5-inch in the front and 20 x 10-inch at the rear.

The left-coast design pack also adds two black go-faster stripes that beautifully complement the Torch Red exterior paint job, as well as a front splitter finished in satin black, special rocker extensions, blacked-out exterior badges, Carbon Flash rear boot spoiler and side mirrors.

“One of the design goals for the Corvette Stingray was to provide customers with the flexibility to tailor the car to their personality,” said Kirk Bennion, Corvette exterior design manager.

In terms of cabin upgrades, this Vette is full of kit. First and foremost, you’ll get the Competition Sport seats, which are an optional extra on the regular 2LT and 3LT trims, available in either red or black. The interior trim is mostly made out of carbon fiber, while the sill plates, floor mats and center armrest are all adorned with the Stingray logo.

Taking its power from a LT1 6.2-liter V8 mill, this special edition vehicle offers sufficient performance thanks to 460 horsepower and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of tire shredding torque. The powerplant can be coupled to either a standard seven-speed manual or an eight-speed paddle-shift auto box.

As with other 2015 models, Corvette’s new Performance Data Recorder is available on the Pacific Design. Put simply, it’s a high-definition camera integrated into the rearview mirror assembly that combines the ability to record and share drive videos with the power of a professional-level telemetry system.

The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Pacific Design Package will go on sale later this year.
