Chevrolet is one of the few American automakers that still offers a semblance of a passenger car lineup consisting of the dirt-cheap $25k Malibu four-door sedan, $31k Camaro pony car, and a trio of C8 Corvette versions - $66,300 Stingray, $108k Z06, and the first-ever 2024 E-Ray ($103k).
One can easily notice a big jump from the affordable Malibu and Camaro to the ritzy Corvette – and of course, you can also find stuff like a V8-powered Camaro Coupe and Convertible in between. But what happens when you run out of space for the kids, in-laws, groceries, and other stuff?

If we are to ask GM's subsidiary Chevrolet, the advice would also be to secure a truck (Colorado, Silverado, Silverado HD) or any of the numerous crossovers and SUVs, which range from the tiny Bolt EUV, Trax, and Trailblazer to the compact and mid-size Equinox, Blazer, and Traverse, or the full-size Tahoe and Suburban. There, the problem is solved.

However, that's only valid in the real world because, across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, there are some other ideas – such as the fact that Chevy should return to the good old times when vans like Ford's E-Series or modern Transit get stiff competition from the GM division. In fact, some have even taken this line of thought into their own hands and done something about it – with their CGI brushes, of course.

Meet Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind the Digimods DESIGN channel on YouTube, who has taken up the task of revealing a revived Chevy G-series minivan. Just recently, this pixel master fell head over heels with his passion for passenger and panel vans – thus coming up with stuff like an all-new 2024 Toyota Hiace, Opel Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Volkswagen Routan, Nissan NV350 Caravan, Isuzu Traga Blind Van, or even a couple of Hyundais – the Starex and Grand Starex models.

Alas, none of them were all too interesting for the American car market until the pixel master decided to focus his attention on the Chevrolet/GMC G-series vans that existed from the 1964 to the 1996 model years. First, he set out to revive the GMC Vandura with plenty of GMC Sierra HD and A-Team vibes. But that was not enough, of course. As such, his next order of CGI business was simple – bring back to life the Chevy Van, too.

His unofficial rendering is based around the Chevy G20 version, a model much beloved by GM customers over the years. But it's not just a rehash of the old-school panel van. No, sir, not at all. Instead, the CGI expert stole the best design cues from the all-new third-gen 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71 full-size SUV and transfixed them on the bare bones of the classic Chevy G20 van. The result is, um, interesting – to say the least!
