British sportscar manufacturer Caterham is about to unveil its most powerful road-going Seven version ever at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. We already told you about it yesterday, and we were just thinking it’s a bit frustrating we still have to wait for the full details.
Although we have yet to find out more about the 620R, and we’ll probably do so as Goodwood opens its doors, we have a very interesting video that might quench your thirst for a couple of days. It seems Caterham took a development car over at the Nurburgring track and managed to take a few laps right after the Formula One Grand Prix.
According to YouTube user “nurburgdale”, who was lucky enough to drive the vehicle on the track, the body belongs to an R500 model that was fitted with the supercharged engine that’ll go into the 620R, as well as the new Sagev sequential gearbox. There’s no official lap time yet and this video is obviously not enough to assess the 620R, but it sure looks promising.
