While most of us, regular people are constantly facing the parking place issue, there are some people out there that will have ground-breaking solutions to their disposal. And it doesn’t really matter how tight their mansion’s backyard is, or how big their 4WD SUVs are money will solve their problem.
Have you ever wondered where wealthy people hide their precious rides? In their huge luxury garages is what you'll probably answer, which is true. But what happens if their 5-bedroom house is located in crowded cities like London, Paris or New York? I mean, let’s say they are rich, but not as wealthy as Sheikh Mohammed, for instance, who is currently building a six-storey car park in London next to Battersea heliport by the river Thames.

Well, they could ask for Cardok, a Swiss company specialized in constructing underground parking systems that double one’s parking space while providing greater security than a locked garage. The system incorporates a two-car lift designed to hold any production car, including luxury saloons and murdered out SUVs.

With a second parking space available under the first car on top, you can either use the additional space for your second Lamborghini or to simply deposit your kid's Rolls-Royce Toy car. It takes 30 seconds for the Cardok to completely open, and when it’s closed it’s almost impossible to tell there’s anything below ground.

Depending on how big your auto collection is, the Swiss company offers optional versions that can accommodate more than one car below. Other than the fact the system is built as the ultimate James Bond gadget, Cardok’s creators claim it offers greater security than a conventional garage. Virtually impregnable in the lowered position, the unit sits flush on the ground, while a solid metal lid prevents undesired access and, of course, maximum discretion.

There is no word on the price of this little toy, but if you truly afford one they will arrange your free no obligation feasibility study.

Good, we’ll add this service to our “when we get rich” bucket list.
