If you’re a fan of Coyote engines, than you might just fall in love with this carbureted powerplant you’re about to see below.
Built around a block prepped by Livernois Motorsports, the engine features a rebalanced factory crank, Oliver rods, Mahle pistons, a Triangle Speed Shop oil pump and a custom sheet-metal 4-barrel intake manifold provided by Rick Groh.

Tweaked to deliver 590 horsepower and 447 pound-feet of torque at 8,000 rpm (!), the engine is totally streetable with moderate cams and 12:1 compression, said main man behind the project, adding that power could go north of 600 HP with aggressive cams and 13:1 compression.

One thing’s for sure, this mill would fit nicely into a custom Ford Mustang, making it ready for some quarter mile or race track fun. Scroll below for the video.
