This is the kind of story that you have to see to believe. A doorbell camera captured the moment a car went airborne and slammed into a home in Jurupa Valley, California. The damage is huge.
Where did that come from? It could have only ended up there if it flew. Which, as strange as it may sound, it really did. And no, it wasn't a stunt as part of some insane car chase scene. This was the real deal.

One quiet morning in Jurupa Valley turned into chaos. The doorbell camera captured the moment a vehicle went airborne, flew over a curb and a lawn, and slammed into the garage door of a home. Eventually, it dropped on one side in front of the owners' two Ford F-150 white pickup trucks parked in the driveway.

There were two more cars behind the closed door of the garage. Both were also damaged in the violent impact, as reported by the Riverside County Fire Department.

The family woke up to see the garage door smashed to pieces and their two trucks with serious damage, and could not believe their eyes.

It was Richard Hernandez' doorbell camera that captured the crash. He also heard the wheels screeching on the tarmac before the hit the two pickup trucks and the garage door.

The driver of a black sedan reportedly tried to take a turn at high speed and lost control of his car. He went over the curb into the lawn, which instantly turned into a launch ramp for the vehicle. It went up through the air and into the garage.

Police are running an investigation to figure out exactly how the car managed to do the real-life stunt. There is no information about the speed that it had before it went airborne, but it was clear that it wasn't driving at 10 mph.

According to Fox 11 station in Los Angeles, the driver only suffered minor to moderate injuries and managed to evacuate himself from the car before the emergency crew arrived at the scene. No criminal charges were filed against the driver.

Last year, we reported about a Ford Mustang that slammed into a building and remained suspended with the rear axle and rear end up in the air. The crash ironically took place on Shelby Street in Indianapolis. However, it was just a GT that ended up floating halfway through the wall.

Witnesses claim that the Mustang hit a curb, the driver lost control of the rear-wheel-drive car and flew over the lawn and into the construction.

The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries but will have to pay for all the damages that he caused. As for his Ford Mustang, that probably ended up in some scrapyard unless someone decided to give it another lease on life.
