Some 100 American and European vintage and exotic cars are expected to be on display at that date on the greens of Capitol Mall in Sacramento, including top classic car collections and vehicles from the California Automobile Museum.
"We are excited to present our Concours at the new Capitol Mall venue and plan to grow the event in this location over the coming decade. We know the public will be thrilled with our special features which will line several blocks with incredible vintage cars, sports cars and exotics," Alan Anderson, director of development for Shriners Hospitals for Children -Northern California said in a statement.
Aside for the exhibition per se, visitors will be offered a special and yet undisclosed treat from DiMora Motorcar, rides in Ferrari or Lamborghini vehicles and an extra surprise offered by Mercedes-Benz during the Ride & Drive event. Music and activities for children will also be on hand.
The rides in the exotic vehicles will not be free of charge though, as all those willing to participate will have to pay a small fee which will be donated to the aforementioned hospital.
"This is truly an event the entire family will enjoy," Anderson added. "We are excited to tell our story to the Concours guests so that we can help more children who otherwise would not receive much needed medical treatment."
