After the mid-size Lyriq, flagship Celestiq fastback, the massive yet elegant Escalade IQ, and the compact Optiq, here comes the 2026 Vistiq, a fresh three-row zero-emissions SUV that looks like it could sell like hotcakes. At least, that's what we are gathering from the first official images.
Slowly but steadily, Cadillac is transitioning from America's go-to luxury automotive brand to a sustainable EV maker. Sure, only the Lyriq is available from $58,590 for now. In contrast, the mind-bending expensive Celestiq is available by inquiry only, taking a page from Rolls-Royce's textbook. The mighty Escalade IQ, the first by its name, will come later – probably when GM finally sorts all the irks and quirks of its Ultium-based EV efforts.

However, at least Cadillac is confident that its parent company will prevail and has swiftly announced another couple of EVs in a matter of weeks. Back in November, we stared at the first official images with the 2025 Optiq, a compact luxury EV crossover SUV slated for production by SAIC-GM in China for release later this year and in North America in 2024.

By the looks of it, this sporty-looking EV crossover SUV would also feel right at home on the narrow streets of Europe's ritzy cities if you ask us. As for its home market, there is more good news – now Cadillac has also announced the arrival of the 2026 Vistiq, a luxury three-row SUV bigger than the Lyriq but not as humongous as the Escalade IQ. Slotted between the two of them, this is the third EV announced by Cadillac this year and the fifth across its expanding EV roster – it will probably be a family-oriented offer.

"Vistiq adds another compelling EV to the Cadillac lineup, reinforcing our commitment to an electric future," said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. "Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments, offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments across critical global markets in the next two years."

Unfortunately, aside from a couple of beauty shots depicting a three-row SUV that is a proud member of the contemporary Cadillac family, there are no additional details regarding its features, powertrain, and pricing – all of them will be released sometime next year, promises the luxury brand. However, we can easily interpret it as a cross between the Lyriq and Escalade IQ – from the rear, it looks like a larger, more upright Lyriq and shares separate LED clusters, while the full-size EV SUV more obviously inspires the front.

Inside, we can quickly expect to see more of Cadillac's expansive screen real estate, just like in the Escalade IQ – though no one should expect the same powertrains, as well. Instead, this new three-row offering might easily borrow Lyriq's top Ultium configuration as its base option and the base setup from the Escalade IQ as its most suitable top choice, right?
