The C8 Chevrolet Corvette makes for an amazing machine, through and through. However, its reasonable financial side also means that many owners turn to the aftermarket to stay ahead. Let's take the 2020 Corvette Stingray we have here, for instance.
As you'll notice in the first social media post below, this C8 was already using a bit of a standout look, coming in all-black form, with just the red brake calipers providing contrast. However, why put in the effort of placing it next to a cool graffiti for a love-grabbing shot when you can have it customized and pretty much render the background useless?
Well, the 'Vette has received a wrap and, thanks to its effervescent shade, the midship monster's head-turning aura has received a serious boost.
Acid Green is a color that has made many Porschephiles weak in the knees and it seems this is the shade that was selected for the second skin transformation of the Chevy - you'll find the fresh look of the machine in the second and the third posts below.
And the "Supergloss" nameplate of this vinyl seems to have been aptly selected, as its nature certainly qualifies as eye candy. Note that the film comes from Inozetec, a specialist that has been involved in multiple SEMA projects, such as the infamous Polestar 1 NFS halo car gone build (check out the last Instagram post below).
Sure, such a shade might split opinions, but since we're talking about a mere wrap, reversing the color change can be done with ease, so there's absolutely no reason to fret.
Of course, we can't say the same about the plethora of mods featured on all the C8 Corvette builds whose pace has been affected by the current global crisis.
