George Foreman of The Rumble in the Jungle and George Foreman Grill fame used lives up to its “Big George” nickname. Not only is he an accomplished professional boxer and entrepreneur, but the boxing legend also has a knack for cars.
This 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster used to be his pride and joy. Now, though, this supercar can be your pride and joy provided that you pony up anything between $285,000 and $325,000.

Mecum Auctions will take care of the selling process later this month at the Monterey auction. With 3,200 kilometers (1,907 miles) on the odometer, Diablo VT Roadster ownership doesn’t get much better than this. This is but one of 66 units produced for 1997 and yes, VT means Viscous Traction.

By Viscous Traction, what Lamborghini means is a modified version of the permanent all-wheel-drive system from the LM 002, a.k.a the Rambo Lambo. The furious beast which lurks under the hood is a 5.7-liter V12 which sings its tune while developing 492 horsepower (499 PS) and 428 lb-ft (580 Nm).

Compared to the Aventador, this baby is equipped with a good old manual. A 5-speed transmission, to be more accurate. Even though it was the late 1990s and the Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster is a bit crude by modern supercar standards, this Raging Bull here can hit 204 mph (328 km/h) if you have the courage to try it. 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h)? 3.9 clicks, thank you!

The last major service was performed in late 2014. As per Mecum Auctions, the engine-out service cost George Foreman over $11,000. Other than the car, the sale also includes goodies such as the original tires from 1997, books, manuals, and the factory tools in their original leather bags.

The highest bidder will also be given a huge collection of George Foreman boxing memorabilia, including a framed picture and ticket stub from The Rumble in the Jungle and a pair of autographed boxing gloves. Best thing of all? An autographed George Foreman grill is also included in the sale.
