You’ll be able to call this year’s edition of the Geneva Auto Show many names, one of which will be an aftermarket feast. Earlier today, we reported that Lumma Design will debut the Porsche Cayenne-based CLR 558 GT at the event. However the tuner will also bring a modification pack for one of the Cayenne’s competitors, the BMW X6, in the form of the CLR X650 kit.
As with the Cayenne, the tuning company will use a diesel engine for the aftermarket program. The company offers its D-Box engine modification kit, installing a sport exhaust system with four tail pipes, an ECU remap and a custom accelerator pedal module. The X6’s 3.0l diesel unit, which delivers 306 hp in stock form, now produces 340 hp.
The Sports Activity Coupe rides 40 mm closer to the road, thanks to a modified suspension and uses 22-inch rims with 295/30 tires for the front axle and 335/25 tires for the rear axle.
The X6 is dressed in an aggressive widebody kit that includes a front spoiler, rear bumper, side skirts, bonnet and rear spoiler, and also comes with carbon fiber applications, for the rear lip, mirror covers, front kidneys and headlamp visors.
As for the interior, this treats passengers with a black and beige upholstery leather/Alacantra fisnish with diamond-shaped stitching, an Alcantara finish for the plastics, a sports steering wheel, carbon trimming, color coordinated instruments and aluminum pedals. We also have to mention that the cabin now uses for sport seats.
autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
