After taking the veils off the brand new S1000R, BMW Motorrad had to bring forth a first video with the bike, to make sure everyone is onboard. Today was the big day and we can now indulge ourselves in a minute in the company of the latest naked from BMW.
The new bike uses a 1-liter engine that develops 160 HP and 112 Nm (83 lb-ft) of torque achieved at 9,250 RPM, having a more street-oriented engineering, as it should, compared to its super bike brother, the S1000RR.
Other notable features include the ASC (automatic stability control), various riding modes and a dynamic suspension. Of course, being made out of lightweight materials, the bike weighs only 207 kg (457 lbs) with a roadster-specific frame geometry.
