A dispute between the resident and the apartment building administration took a very wrong turn. In the morning, the owner of a BMW had to hammer his car out of the wall built around it overnight by the administration that he had been having a long-term feud with.
Living in apartment blocks is tricky. Someone always plays loud music when they're supposed to keep quiet, someone else makes fried fish, and the smell goes everywhere around, or some driver parks in the wrong spot that another one pays for. And things sometimes go way too far. But being a resident and fighting with the administration of the building is a whole different kind of battle.

One such dispute ended up with a BMW enclosed in a makeshift wall. It happened in an apartment building in the Chamber neighborhood of Madrid, Spain. Things escalated quickly, and, in the morning, Fernando Prieto had to hammer down a wall to free his BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe trapped behind it.

A video showing the man demolishing the wall, which seems made of a light material, not actual concrete, has been uploaded to TikTok by TeleMadrid. He shows up patiently hammering the wall down bit by bit to release his white BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe.

There is no exact confirmation of the facts that took the resident, Fernando, and the administration of the building so far. What we do know is that Fernando kept parking his BMW there, and the administrator hated it. So he decided to teach him a lesson.

He brought a construction team and the necessary construction materials to the underground garage where the car was parked and made sure it would not be going anywhere any time soon. Hours later, the garage had a totally different floor plan. The task was performed during a single night, which is faster than most workers out there being paid by hour would usually do it.

That night, the construction team brought by the vengeful administrator even had time to paint the wall to match the aesthetics of the garage. They must be pro construction workers, some of the best in the country to be able to complete the job so fast without getting the attention of everyone in the building in the process.

The wall that entrapped the BMW was not perfectly straight, but somewhat curved, a shape which had to be adapted to the rear end of the BMW 4 Series. When the owner of the vehicle arrived in the underground parking to retrieve it, he probably could not believed his eyes. He could not see it anywhere. But there was a wall where he had parked his car the night before.

He somehow figured out that his car was beyond the new wall. So, the only thing for him left to do was pick up a hammer to take down the wall and recover his BMW.

This is apparently not the first time this has happened. Fernando found his car trapped behind a wall before. While he says that the parking spot is his, the administration claims it is of public use.

According to the Spanish media, this apartment building in Madrid seems somewhat of a battlefield. The disputes between neighbors are just an episode of the war saga. Fights over a 400,000 euro bill with the owner of the building and a court trial with the administrator charged with trying to benefit "friendly companies" in the renovation process are part of the lives of the residents.
