Held every year by the German Design Council, the Automotive Brand Contest rewards the companies that have an innovative approach on design features and combine the best looking attributes on the outside with the best feeling on the inside.
This year, BMW claimed no less than 19 awards on different categories like Exterior Premium Brand, Interior Premium Brand, Architecture and many others.
The winners included the BMW Z4, the BMW M6 Gran Coupé, the MINI Paceman and the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo all of them winning in the Exterior Premium Brand category whilst the latter also won the Interior Premium Category.
In the events category, the sculpture presented at the 2013 Salone del Mobile entitled "MINI KAPOOOW" claimed the number one spot, whilst the "QUIET MOTION" installation received a Special Mention.
The BMW 7 Series commercial "Sovereignty" and the online commercial "MINI NEXT FAMILY" won the prizes for the Campaign category, whilst the BMW Magazine and the business customer magazine "BMW Business Class" won the corporate publishing category.
