2014 will probably be yet another record breaking year for BMW, judging by the numbers they posted for the first month of the year.
In January, a total of 132,892 vehicles from the BMW Group were sold worldwide, registering a 7.8 percent increase over the same period of last year (123,302).

“This is a positive start, building on last year’s success. Looking ahead, although the economic climate remains challenging in many markets, there are signs of improvement and we are aiming for continued growth in 2014,” said Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Sales and Marketing BMW.

“We are launching some very exciting new models over the next few months and our target is to increase overall global sales for a fourth successive year,” Robertson added.

The models Robertson was talking about will surely bring further momentum. This year we’ll be seeing the 4 Series Gran Coupe, 2 Series Active Tourer, new X3 and X4 going into business, not to mention the 2014 MINI Cooper range and the M models.
