BMW F30 320i xDrive Test Drive by Autos.ca

The Canadians from Autos.ca had a BMW 320i xDrive for a prolonged test drive. The car was theirs to test in every single way for 4 days, time in which you can get to see every single mishap of the car.

Over this period, the car performed admirably, even they considering it a best buy for this price tag. The car has 184 HP and 270 Nm (200 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal coming out of a 4-cylinder 2-liter turbocharged unit.

This ensures a fuel consumption of 6 l/100km (39 mpg) and a sprint to 62 mph of 7.3 seconds. For a city car and a family hauler, it's a decent car that will also provide quite some interesting thrills when you push it outside of a tight corner.

You have plenty of leg room both in the back and in the front and the standard features will give you almost everything you need in a car, without any fancy (but to some point useless) gadgets.

From behind the steering wheel you have a clear view of the road ahead of you. The car also doesn't feel slow at all, and you could bet on your house that is has more power than what BMW advertises.

iDrive allows you to choose between 3 driving settings: Normal, Sport and Eco Pro and the differences show between all of them. The Eco Pro setting will soften the acceleration whilst Sport will liven up the whole Sedan.
